Probably the most commonly used strategy I have used with my clients over the years has been to teach them to take one day at a time.More
“You never outgrow inspiration”
I love the saying by Jim Rohn in which he says that you must work harder on yourself that you ever would in your job or your business.
No matter what stage we are at in our professional or personal lives, we are never too old to learn, nor do we ever outgrow being inspired by someone else.
“Thoughts become things so choose only the good ones”.
One of the most helpful techniques I have discovered in becoming more peaceful is to have an awareness of how quickly negative thinking can snowball. One small negative thought can become massive if I was to allow it. One thought leads to another and yet another and before you know it you are extremely agitated, and often within a very short period of time.
“Its not about the food, in fact, it was never about the food!”
It took me most of my life to finally ‘get it’, that it was not about the food. It was never about the food. On a head level I knew it, even on a heart level I knew it, yet I kept trying, just one more time, to do it my way.
“For there is ….. time…..for every purpose.”
So many of us rushed year after year, constantly searching outside of ourselves, turning this way or that way, twisting ourselves inside out.
It is time to slow down until you can stop.
After years of trial and error there are so many things that work for me.
Listed below are a few of the important ones and over time I will share more.
I hope there is something here that may help you! Feedback is welcome!
